Maria Juliana Garzón Vargas

Maria Juliana Garzón Vargas has a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS), Colombia. As an undergraduate student she joined the High Performance and Scientific Computing Center (SC3-UIS), platform of the Advanced and Large-Scale Computing Research Group (CAGE), her biggest achievements included two international conference presentations about her final project. (SC16-GTC17) Currently she’s a first-year PhD student in Telecommunications at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), Spain.

Her research interests include Active reduction of noise transmitted into and from enclosures through encapsulated structures as well as High-Performance Embedded Computing Systems.
