Audio Signal Processing for Virtual Reality
This research area handles the development and integration of new audiovisual systems that exploit the latest progresses of video and audio signal digital processing. Specifically, it devotes special attention to the integration of image synthesis systems with highly realistic 3D sound systems. Likewise, specific software in real time is implemented for these applications. In the virtual reality field, tracking mechanisms of the individual are carried out to adapt the image and sound synthesis environment to the individual to succeed in obtaining virtual systems of high immersion
